Tuition fee
Fees are subject to annual revision and are due according to the payment schedule. The payment of fees is the responsibility of the student, and in the event of a student’s sponsoring authority (if any) failing to make the payment, the student will be held personally liable for payment.
The Tuition Fee is included among the lecturers, databases, and facilities belonging to the program, so SIMI Swiss refuses to consider any financial exceptions from students. Students of programs that last more than one year of study should be aware that tuition fees increase/change every year. Tuition fees are listed in CHF and may be adjusted for equivalent conversion in other foreign currencies according to each market.
Other Fee
1. Application Fee: a non-refundable charge which is valid for 3 months from the date of payment.
2. Re-student card: The student lost the original card and requirements for the new one.
3. Assignment/ Capstone Project Extension: In case the students need to extend, the student is requested to fill out the Extension Request Form.
The student has to submit the form at least 2 weeks before the assignment deadline. The Extension Request Form should be approved by SIMI Swiss at least 01 week before the regulated deadline of the Assignment/Capstone Project.
It is important to highlight that the deadline should be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks, starting from the preceding deadline. A single complimentary extension will be granted per Assignment/ Capstone Project only.
Additionally, if any further extension may be required, SIMI Swiss reserves the right to make final decisions.
4. Research Extension: In case the student needs to extend, the student is requested to fill out the Extension Request Form.
The student has to submit the form at least 1 month before the submission deadline as the Master Plan. The Extension Request Form should be approved by SIMI Swiss at least 01 week before the regulated deadline for the Doctoral Thesis Full text.
It is important to highlight that the deadline should be extended to a maximum of 6 months, starting from the preceding deadline.

5. Resit: means the student failed and needs to do/ submit the assignment again. There are two cases in that students have to resit:

- Case 2: The student gets the FAIL results as stated in the Marking Sheet.
The student will have the opportunity to re-submit the assignment for a maximum of 2 times and the designated period for each subsequent submission is within 01 month, measured from the date of receiving the preceding evaluation results.
6. Re-study: The student is obligated to study the Module again after getting the Fail result in the second time of resitting. (This fee is the tuition fee for the course only).

Please note that all the requested forms need to be sent to the email: studentaffairs@simiswiss.ch. Student is kindly aware that Payment currency depends on the Payment Schedule, and all fees will be updated by the Swiss Information and Management Institute.
Payment Policy
The payment term is mandatory for each student. The payment of fees is the responsibility of the student and, in the event of a student’s sponsoring authority (if any) failing to make the payment, the student will be held personally liable for payment. The student must follow the payment installment time. SIMI Swiss accepts the range of payment methods outlined below:
- By cash or using a credit or debit card
- Banking transfer
The student should take responsibility for the payment term to the local scientific partner, which is the collector for the Swiss Information and Management Institute. Please note that the fee which the local scientific partner collects is not an income of the local scientific partner. The tuition fee is announced and accepted by students before the beginning of program.
The student should understand that the delay of study does not mean the delay of financial obligation.
Students must be responsible for fulfilling their financial obligations to the institute and completing the application file for delaying and extending their study.
The student must follow the policies on the time back to the institute after their delayed time.
Without an explanation for delaying the financial obligation at least 02 weeks after the installment, the student will get a warning letter as a reminder of the financial obligation. Upon receiving the warning letter, the student's status in the program will be inactive until the completion of the financial obligation.
Students will be forced to drop out of SIMI Swiss’s programs for financial reasons if they do not receive any response from SIMI Swiss within 02 weeks from the date of the warning letter. SIMI Swiss (the governing of MI Swiss) will not refund and is not responsible for the academic side when these situations happen.
Interest policy
If a student fails to make any payment due to SIMI Swiss under this agreement by the due date for payment, then the student shall pay interest on the overdue amount at the Interest Rate. Such interest shall accrue on a daily basis from the due date until the actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after judgment. The defaulting party shall pay the interest together with the overdue amount.
Withdrawal
When the student paid the fees following the payment schedule, and for some reason, he/she quit the program. Below is the withdrawal process and refund policy that the student can follow:
Withdrawal Process:
The student intending to withdraw from the enrolled program must fill out the Withdrawal Form with completed details and send it to the email: studentaffairs@simiswiss.ch within at least 3-5 weeks prior to the program's start date so that the Institute can process the approval step and the refund policy.
Please be aware that SIMI Swiss will not consider any Withdrawal Form submitted within the initial 02 weeks from the program's start date.
Refund Policy
In alignment with the Conditional Letter of Offer for each student and the upcoming start date of the new module, we will adhere to the following refund policy:
- Application Fee Refund: The application fee will be refunded if your program application is not approved by the Institute, provided that the non-approval does not result from the applicant's breach or violation of the Institute's rules and regulations.
- Full Refund: Refund can be accepted for 100% of the paid tuition fee if the student has not studied yet and has received an approval letter from the Institute at least 04 weeks before the start of the program day.
